He has also worked as a web programmer for a small firm specializing in web accessibility for the disabled, with a client list that included three California cities. David's duties included web maintenance (primarily XHTML) and some back-end development (PHP and SQL). He also created simple scripts in Perl to do the basic XHTML markup for common client documents.
He has a particular interest in growing as a Flash developer and ActionScript programmer, working with others on creative solutions for communication, education, entertainment, and commerce.

- Melodic Dictation: A skill required of college music majors. Created for this website.
- Galileo: Created for a course on history of science.
- XML Quiz Demo: Example of how an interactive Flash quiz, complete with sound, can take its content from a simple XML file. The value of this approach is that a teacher with no knowledge of Flash can easily change the content (the questions and answers) of the XML file.
- Monopoly: Simulates token movement around the Monopoly board.
- Greeting: David's recent foray into animation to test lip sync, effects, and YouTube deployment.
- Visual Dictation: An exercise for students of ESL (English as a Second Language), this is a desktop application that must be downloaded. Select: PC or Mac.
Non-Flash samples:
- Lexical Notebook: A PHP/MySQL project for a colleague who teaches ESL.
- Triple Concentration: A Javascript/jQuery math and memory game for the second and third grade. Requires a recent non-Microsoft browser.
